Sacristy / Diakonikon

Already defined under Diakonikon. The sacristy (using the Western term) is the south apse of the Orthodox sanctuary where vestments, liturgical books, and vessels are kept. The Western term 'sacristy' is sometimes used in English-language Orthodox contexts. The space is accessible only to ordained clergy and appointed servers.
