The Twelve Great Feasts are the principal commemorations of the Lord and the Theotokos: Nativity of the Theotokos (Sep 8), Exaltation of the Cross (Sep 14), Entry of the Theotokos (Nov 21), Nativity of Christ (Dec 25), Theophany (Jan 6), Presentation of Christ (Feb 2), Annunciation (Mar 25), Entry into Jerusalem (Sunday before Pascha), Ascension, Pentecost, Transfiguration (Aug 6), Dormition (Aug 15). Above all twelve stands Pascha.
