Pentecost
The fiftieth day after Pascha — the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles; the fulfillment of Pascha.
Pentecost (fiftieth) is the feast of the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles (Acts 2), celebrated fifty days after Pascha. It is one of the Twelve Great Feasts and the conclusion of the Paschal season. It is also called 'Trinity Sunday' — for on this day the full revelation of the Trinity is complete. Kneeling prayers are read at Vespers on Pentecost evening for the first time since Pascha.
